WHAT IS ABA THERAPY?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a form of therapy that is based on data collection of problematic behaviors to increase learning and modify behavior.  It is scientifically backed by empirical studies.  Our treatment plans are individualized, and it is made to fit each child and their needs.

WHAT THE GOAL OF ABA THERAPY?

The goal is to augment the behaviors that are desirable such as functional communication, social skills, education, etc. In addition, it aims to diminish and prevent and or eradicate behaviors that are undesirable and that affect with learning and independence negatively such as aggressiveness, tantrums, property destruction. We focus on areas that help children improve in the areas of academia, social skills, functional communication, expressive language, toilet training and daily living skills and caregiver training.

Our clinical staff will put together a diagnostic evaluation after meeting with you and your child to complete the Behavioral Assessment and treatment plan.  The individualized treatment plans can be comprehensive and or focused.  The therapy is provided at home, school, or community.  Therapy is daily, or five to six days weekly and up to thirty hours weekly.
